Reflection

Here is some photo that really meaningful and amazing me. It were taken by photographer Tom Hussey. No matter your age, race, beliefs or occupation. The Reflection photos illustrate just how much we change in our lives and how it seems to happen all at once, no matter how many years actually go by. These will really grip your soul.

“It’s a universal condition — at some point in your life, you look in the mirror and say, ‘Wait a minute, how did I get this old?’” said Tom.

“When you look in the mirror every day, you recognize yourself, but when you go back and look at a photo of yourself 20 years ago you say, ‘Wow, I really have changed.’”

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
― Melody Beattie

Self- reflection is the careful thoughts about your own behavior and beliefs.

Take time to appreciate every day, because these years will be gone before you know it.

PENANG BRIDGE INTERNATIONAL MARATHON 2013

"I run because it's so symbolic of life. You have to drive yourself to overcome the obstacles. You might feel that you can't. But then you find your inner strength, and realize you're capable of so much more than you thought." -Arthur Blank

"Miracle is not about when it happened, Miracle is about you taking the first step to make it happen." I have came that far and I'm almost there !

Age is just but a number. Uncle, salute you. The spirit of a fighter, never say never and the will to do.

"Struggling and suffering are the essence of a life worth living. If you're not pushing yourself beyond the comfort zone, if you're not demanding more from yourself -- expanding and learning as you go - you're choosing a numb existence. You're denying yourself an extraordinary trip."
- Dean Karnazes

“Champions, don't quit"
"You can fast, you can slow ,but don't stop"
"Finish it ,or don't start"

'The 3 important things in everything we do, dedication, commitment and hardwork'

"Like the marathon, life can sometimes be difficult, challenging and present obstacles, however if you believe in your dreams and never ever give up, things will turn out for the best."
-Meb Keflezighi, U.S. Olympic marathoner

Things doesn't work out the way you'd like. When you don't give up, you cannot fail. Every people are the same. They do not have superpower, special ability, they are human. You can decide what to do in each day. You thought that there is the end of the road, who knows there is a small path which bring you to a new world. People can do it, why don't we? Action speak louder than words. Make your dream come true. You are not alone. All world are moving to the destination.

"Life (and running) is not all about time but about our experiences along the way." No matter how is the result, at least you finish it. You gain something new, you try your best and you MAKE it. Complete the race with our heart.

Let's run run run, let's run together :)

Life is precious

Life is so precious
And each day a gift
So enjoy every minute
As it were you last to live

Cherish your loved ones
Hug them tight
Share with them your heart
And your time

Nothing is forever
And life goes so fast
Each minute that passes
Is one you can’t get back

When troubles arrive
And knock you off your feet
Stand up and smile
And remember life is too sweet

Every morning when you wake,
Decide right from the start,
That “Today will be a good day”
And let it all in with an open heart

Yong Vui Kong

Yong Vui Kong, a Sabahan, was 18 years and 6 months old when he was arrested for trafficking 47 grams of heroin into Singapore. He was sentenced to mandatory death in January 2009. He had exhausted his appeals by August this year and he'll be hang next month! And he can only escape execution if the Singapore President grants clemency. Yong faces injustice in Singapore when the Law Minister made an open remark that jeopardizes his Clemency. Yong had repent and enlightened by the Buddhism teaching and hopes his death sentence can be changed to life sentence to preach the don't-do-drug message in prison.

R.I.P 陈平
